13 Months and ’13 Leaders

Julian is now 13 months old and continues to be one of the greatest joys in our life.  He is very vocal and mobile, and has expanded his vocabulary to include “night night”, “ball”, and “keys”.

We ask for your prayers for health and rest for our family.  All 3 of us were very sick over Christmas break in December and again over Spring break this past week. So, it seems each break has not been as restful as we hoped.  We continue to put our hope in the Lord to revive us again and again as we finish out this school year.

Please pray for us & our students:

  • As we begin leadership selection for the 2012-2013 school year.  We will be meeting with our Vision team multiple times in the next few weeks to make placement decisions about those who have applied to be student leaders with InterVarsity.
  • For graduating seniors, that they would trust the Lord during a season of transition.
  • As we head up to Rockbridge Alum Springs camp in Goshen, VA without about 70 of our students, May 6-11, 2012.  We will actually be at camp for 2 full weeks as a family (yes, all of us, even Julian!) so please pray again for health and patience as we travel for such an extended period of time.
  • For the students who have become believers this semester, that they would “be rooted and established in love” and would “know the love that surpasses knowledge” as Paul talks about in Ephesians 3:17.
